Feb. 15: National Flag of Canada Day 
             The Canadian flag with red Maple leaf is probably the most beloved and respected symbol of Canadian identity. 
             It was officially inaugurated on Feb. 15, 1965, by Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson.
             The design of red and white is based on a strong sense of Canadian history. Those colors were proclaimed Canada's national color by King George V in 1921.
